The Space Medicine Nursing Research Consortium (SMNRC) is an international nursing-led research consortium advancing evidence for human health, healthcare and performance in space and other extreme environments.

We bring together nurses, clinicians, researchers and interdisciplinary collaborators to investigate emerging challenges in space health and contribute credible research that can inform the future development of healthcare for human space activities.

Our work is grounded in scientific rigour, collaboration and responsible exploration. While our focus extends beyond Earth, we also recognise the potential for knowledge developed through space health research to contribute to healthcare on Earth, particularly in remote, isolated, resource-constrained and operationally complex environments.

SMNRC seeks to strengthen nursing's contribution to the evidence base for space medicine while working collaboratively across disciplines, organisations and international boundaries.

Humanity. Evidence. Collaboration. Exploration.
